It plays "It's a Small World" controlled by an off/on switch inside. If you wish, it will play continually when the box is closed (until it dies down, of course). This absolutely sweet black box measuring 5 1/8" x 6 3/4" is made of a black matte finished wood and embellished with a decoupage of the "Fantastic Clown Opening" of circus scenes on the front and another scene on both sides.
