About the Artist... Born in Long Island, New York, singer-songwriter Gordon Bahary began writing songs at ten years of age. As a teenager, he collaborated with his key influences Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock. His 2010 release entitled “Unbreakable” contains soulful vocals, jazz-influenced instrumentation, and story-like songs inspired by mentor, singer-songwriter Harry Chapin. Bahary performs the instruments as well, in his much anticipated return to music as a solo artist. His earlier recordings, under the pseudonym “Twilight 22”, charted on the Top-Five on the Billboard Hit Charts in Pop and R&B (“Electric Kingdom”, “Siberian Nights”), creating a fusion of electro-pop and eastern music, breaking new ground for today’s Urban R&B music. Other collaborations include artists Raven Symone and Ramsey Lewis, as performer/producer.
