This is a beautiful image of a young lady on the beach in days gone by, decoupaged on the lid of a light pinkish elm finished, music box.  The painting is called "Summer Thoughts."

By the artist Thomas R. Dunlay and measuring 4.5" x 5.5" while standing 2.5" tall on little brass feet,  it is lined in a soft pink velvet-like fabric and will hold a few trinkets.
