From its unique "frame body" made of removable aluminum support bars to its original one-piece stereo microphone bridge, the new Aria Sinsonido (sin-so-need-oh) AS-100S is all about innovation. The uniquely designed six steel-string electric guitar barely tips the scale at just around four pounds, but its hard maple, 20 fret, one piece neck and body provide a big sound and solid feel. Created with the active guitarist in mind, the new Sinsonido is built for practice, portability and performance. The three piece frame body quickly pops off to fit in the compact soft case, perfect for traveling. When not riffing in private, using the guitar's own stereo headphones, the 9AS-100S feels right at home on stage plugged directly into a standard amplifier as well as in a variety of other venues; plugged into any mic or CD input on a boom box, Karaoke machine, computer speaker and more.
A nine volt battery provides hours of playing time thanks to the switch jack that "turns off" the active internal circuitry when the plug is removed. An original one-piece bridge pickup provides bright, natural sound qualities with exceptional acoustic tone in stereo through an amplifier or headphones. The pure, unadulterated tone makes the 9AS-100S especially suitable for plugging into today's popular amp simulator effects boxes.
The Sinsonido's full size neck includes an adjustable truss rod and the instrument also features separate volume and tone controls.
Complete with headphones and a padded carry bag.
This model is almost a duplicate of the Aria Portable Sinsonido AS-490S. The only difference is that it has more padding on the rails (the area that makes the shape of guitar) which makes for more comfortable playing and is lighter too. The length on the fingerboard is the same, but the width on this one is a tiny bit smaller. We do recommend this one.
