This Capo was designed by Rick Shubb (a banjo player by trade) the founder of Shubb, with the collaboration of David Coontz (a mechanic at the time). It was made with purpose and functionality in mind. No longer was it spring loaded rather a lever that supplies the sufficient amount of pressure to the string as to not impede on the tone. The stream line bar mounts flush to the neck of the banjo, it is unobtrusive and sturdy. Certainly there earliest achievement and possibly there best.
It comes in 2 lengths! Please specify when placing your order.
5.75” (capos to the 10th fret) and
8” (capos to the 13th fret)
