This is a previously owned magnificent carousel similar to the rose bud Sevres Porcelain pattern and made by Reuge. Depress the button on the side and the doors open to reveal a silver lyre and then close while the music continues to play. The carousel stands 12 1/2 " high and is approximately 7" in diameter at the widest point
As it opens it plays a minuet by Mozart and closes to "Serenade" by Schubert. Perfect for the classical music lover.
These carousels are no longer being manufactured and we have a limited quantity available, this one being one of the prettiest. /strong>
