Circa 1950s, this piece was designed by Fred Zimbalist, a musician and cousin of Ephrem Zimbalist, Sr. (the famed concert violinist). Silver pieces such as this one were all originally imported from Italy and Hand tooled. No two were exactly the same.
It is made of brass with silver nickel plating. It measures approximately 12.5" square and 19" high and weighs 32 pounds.
