SOLD. A pristine side rare mounted Japanese 18 note movement in the top section of this box plays "Moulin Rouge."The cabinet shows some wear as most used toys do. as seen in image. There are three sections (all lined in red hardly used if at all) that hold trinkets. The top (which has an aged mirror), the keyboard (which lifts up)and a drawer under the keyboard with a little handle. Ir measures approximately 8.5" wide, 5.25" from back to front (at deepest point) and stands7.5" tall. Left in our old store for repair in 2006 and then abandonded. It says "Made in Japan" (which probably dates it to 1952 or so after Japan was no longer occupied) The tune also came out about that time. $42.50 only reflects the cost of the repair. Makes for an interesting 60 year old collector's item.
