New shipment arrived! A single Red Rose framed in a filetto border adorns the lid of this Glossy Elm musical box. It measures 6.5" x 4.5 " and stands 2.75" high on little brass feet.
It features a beige suede-like lining and an optional matching covered window to hide or view the mechanism which plays when the lid is lifted.

The word "filetto" translates to thread and therefore the rose on this musical box has been framed with a filetto or thread-like border. Skilled marquetry is required for this delicate inlay.
