Bronze bowls such as this one have been found in China dating back to the 5th century B.C. When filled with water and when the handles are rubbed in just the right way, the bowl will sing in a low-pitched tone. The sound vibrations, in turn, disturb the surface of the water so it shoots up in spouts. In just a short amount ot time, you can learn to make the water dance.
