Circa 1950s, this small and especially lovely jewelry box was designed by Fred Zimbalist, a cousin of Ephrem Zimbalist, Sr. (the famed concert violinist). Plays "Blue Danube Waltz" by Strauss and measures 9.5" tall.
Silver pieces such as this one, were all Hand tooled in India and no two were exactly the same.
They can be used for keepsakes, or as covered candy containers or servers.
